Polyacrylamide is a linear organic polymer,and also a polymer water treating flocculant products,it can absorb suspended particles in water,and play a role of linking and bridging between particles,so that fine particles form relatively large flocs,and the speed of sedimentation is accelerated.This process is called flocculation, because of its good flocculation effect,PAM is used as a flocculant for water treatment and is widely used in sewage treatment. PAM has three types: Anionic PAM, Cationic PAM and Nonionic PAM.
