Place the filter balls in a large bucket or container

Use a soft brush to scrub away any remaining dirt or debris from the filter balls
Rinse the filter balls thoroughly with clean water until all soap residue is removed

If you have a pool, it' s important to keep the filter balls clean. But how often should you clean them? It depends on how often you use your pool.
If you use it every day, you should clean the filter balls every week. If you only use it on weekends, you can probably get away with cleaning them every other week. To clean the filter balls, simply remove them from the filter and rinse them off with a hose.
You can also soak them in a bucket of soapy water for a few hours to loosen any stubborn dirt. Then just rinse them off again and put them back in the filter. Easy peasy!
