 The difference between polyacrylamide dry powder and polyacrylamide emulsion. The dissolution time of polyacrylamide emulsion is generally about 5-20 minutes. It is easy to use, but the active ingredient is only half of the polyacrylamide dry powder, and the price is similar to that of polyacrylamide dry powder. The storage time is about half a year; the dissolution time of the dry polyacrylamide powder is about 30-60 minutes, and the solid content is above 88%, which is convenient for transportation and has a long storage time, about 2 years.


Dissolution and use of 100% pure polyacrylamide (PAM):

1. The concentration of flocculant is generally 0.5 ‰ -2 ‰, that is, 2 grams of dry powder is added in 1 liter of water. A small amount of water can be added during the configuration. After the polymer is dissolved, the required concentration of water is added. The dissolution rate can be accelerated at higher concentrations.

2. The specific operation of the configuration is as follows: add a certain amount of water to the dissolution tank, turn on the stirring, and evenly sprinkle the dry powder around the vortex of the water. The stirring speed is about 50-100r / min. Care should be taken to avoid the dry powder particles from sticking to each other after entering the water. Generally speaking, it can be completely dissolved after stirring for 60 minutes.

3. The water in which the polyacrylamide is dissolved can be tap water at room temperature. Properly increase the temperature or speed up the dissolution when it is alkaline (PH value 8-9). However, the water temperature should not exceed 50 ° C, because the polymer will be thermally degraded when the water temperature is too high, which will also affect the use effect.
