Can You Backwash Filter Balls

Just like you backwash your pool filter to clean it out, you can also backwash your filter balls! This is a simple process that only takes a few minutes and can be done as often as needed. Here's how to do it:

1. Turn off your pump and remove the lid from your filter.

2. Take out all of the filter balls and place them in a bucket or container.

3. Rinse off the filter balls with clean water.
4. Place the filter balls back into the filter and close the lid.

How To Clean Pool Filter Balls

• Remove the filter balls from the pool filter

• Place the filter balls in a large bucket or container

• Fill the bucket or container with water and a mild detergent or cleaning solution

• Allow the filter balls to soak for several minutes to loosen any dirt or debris

• Use a soft brush to scrub away any remaining dirt or debris from the filter balls

• Rinse the filter balls thoroughly with clean water until all soap residue is removed

• Allow the filter balls to air dry completely before returning them to the pool filter unit
