In the field of water treatment, the role of polyacrylamide flocculants in on-site use is mainly reflected in sedimentation, air flotation, sludge dewatering, and other aspects. When used for sedimentation or air flotation, we need to observe the height of the sedimentation tank (or suspended in the air flotation tank), reaction rate, sedimentation rate (or floating rate), and effluent clarification. When using sludge dewatering, we not only need to observe the reaction rate and effluent clarification, but also observe the size of the mud, the size of flocculation, and the water content of the mud.
