It is important to clean your pool FilterBalls regularly in order to prevent them from becoming clogged and ineffective. Depending on the size of your pool and the amount of use it gets, you may need to clean your FilterBalls as often as once a week or as little as once a month. To clean your FilterBalls, simply remove them from the filter and rinse them off with a hose.

You can also soak them in a bucket of soapy water for a more thorough cleaning. Be sure to rinse the soap completely before putting the balls back in the filter.
