Scale inhibitors are chemical additives used to prevent scale and precipitation in water treatment equipment. Phosphate scale inhibitors: mainly composed of phosphoric acid, polyphosphoric acid, and emulsified phosphates, suitable for preventing the scaling and precipitation of mineral salts such as calcium, magnesium, and silicon, also known as calcium agents.

Organic acid scale inhibitors: mainly composed of organic acids such as citric acid, acetic acid, and oxalic acid, suitable for preventing the scaling and precipitation of metal ions such as calcium and manganese, and also have the effect of alleviating the effect of ferrous oxide in water.

Corrosion inhibitors: This type of scale inhibitor mainly acts on the inner wall of metal pipes or equipment, which can enhance the metal's corrosion resistance to oxides, hydroxides, and alkaline substances, thereby preventing corrosion and peeling of the pipe wall, and can also reduce scaling and deposition in water.

Inorganic salt scale inhibitors: Sodium sulfate, sodium phosphate, ammonium nitrate, chloride, etc. are the main ingredients, suitable for preventing the deposition and scaling of inorganic salts such as magnesium and calcium.

Acrylic copolymers: This type of scale inhibitor is usually called a dispersant or polymer, and is suitable for preventing precipitation, especially silicates. Generally, it can be used together with a chelating agent to improve the effect.
