Polyaluminum chloride (PAC) has great advantages in the treatment of high-concentration organic wastewater, but it also has certain disadvantages, such as a long start-up time, a high level of management, and easy to produce odor, especially for small scale This is especially true of industrial process engineering. However, in the anaerobic reaction, the methane fermentation stage with long reaction time and high control conditions can be abandoned, and the reaction can be controlled in the acidification stage, which has the following advantages compared with the anaerobic reaction of the whole process:

 

(1) Since the reaction is controlled rapidly in the hydrolysis and acidification stages, the volume of the hydrolysis tank is small;

 

(2) There is no need to collect the generated biogas, which simplifies the structure, reduces the cost and facilitates maintenance;

 

(3) The degradation function of the sludge is completely the same as that of the digester, and the amount of excess sludge produced is small.

 

(4) Under the action of hydrolase, oil molecules generate glycerol and fatty acids, and macromolecular organic matter is decomposed into small molecular substances. After the hydrolysis reaction, the solubility and biochemical properties in wastewater are improved, which is beneficial to the uptake of substrates by microorganisms and is used in the metabolism of microorganisms. An important link is reduced in the process, which will accelerate the degradation of organic matter and create more favorable conditions for subsequent biological treatment.
