Sodium hypochlorite is mainly used in bleaching, industrial wastewater treatment, papermaking, textiles, pharmaceuticals, fine chemicals, sanitation and disinfection, and many other fields. As follows,

1. Used for pulp, textiles (such as cloth, towels, undershirts, etc.), chemical fibers and starch bleaching;

2. Soap industry used as a bleaching agent for oil; 

3. Chemical industry for the production of hydrazine hydrate, monochloramine, dichloramine;

4. For the manufacture of cobalt, nickel chlorination agent; 

5. Water treatment used as water purification agent, fungicide, disinfectant; 

6. Dye industry for the manufacture of sulfur sapphire; 

7. Organic industry for the manufacture of chlorophenic, calcium carbide water to acetylene purification agent; 

8. Agriculture and animal husbandry used as disinfectants and deodorants for vegetables, fruits, feedlots and livestock houses; 

9. Food-grade sodium hypochlorite is used for the disinfection of beverage water, fruits and vegetables, and the sterilization and disinfection of food manufacturing equipment and utensils, but it can not be used in the food production process using sesame as raw materials.
