The effective chlorine content of pure SDIC is 64.5%, and the effective chlorine content of high-quality products is greater than 60%, which has a strong disinfection and sterilization effect, and the sterilization rate reaches 99% at 20ppm. Its Toxicity Is Very Low
The median lethal dose (LD50) is as high as 1.67g/kg (the median lethal dose of trichloroisocyanuric acid is only 0.72~0.78g/kg). The use of SDIC in the disinfection of food and drinking water has long been approved at home and abroad.

The Effective Chlorine Utilization Rate Is High
The solubility of SDIC in water is high, and 30g SDIC can be dissolved per 100mL of water at 25℃. Even in aqueous solution with water temperature as low as 4℃, SDIC can quickly release all the available chlorine contained in it, making full use of its disinfection and sterilization effect. Other solid chlorine-containing products (except chloro-isocyanuric acid) have much lower chlorine values than SDIC due to their low solubility or slow release of the chlorine they contain.
The Stability Is Good
Because the triazine ring in the chloro-isocyanuric acid product molecules is relatively stable, so the SDIC property is very stable. It has been determined that the dry SDIC stored in the warehouse will lose less than 1% of its available chlorine after 1 year.
