The Difference Between Trichloroisocyanuric Acid and Sodium Dichloroisocyanurate
Trichloroisocyanuric acid (TCCA) and Sodium dichloroisocyanurate (SDIC) is widely used in water disinfection. They are both great efficient on anti fungus and algae and they could be used in Industrial circulating water system, daily chemical textile industry, animal husbandry and aquatic products, food and beverage processing industry, disinfectant for swimming pools and disinfection of public places such as hospitals and hotels.
1. Chlorine Content
TCCA is mostly in 90% .but SDIC is 56% or 60%.
2. Dissolve Time
SDIC dissolve in water in minutes.but it may take hours for TCCA.
3. Sterilizing Effect
Test proves that TCCA is a little better than SDIC even in same concentration.
4. PH Value
TCCA is acid and would effect PH.but SDIC would not.
