Recently, a batch of small containers loaded with silica cat litter departed from Qingdao Port and was sent to Moscow, Russia via sea-rail transport, marking a new and efficient route for the export of China's environmentally friendly pet products.

With the booming development of the global "pet economy", the demand for environmentally friendly cat litter has surged. Silica gel cat litter has become a popular product in the international market due to its environmentally friendly characteristics such as strong water absorption, no dust, and reusability. As a major producer of pet products in the world, China's cat litter exports have continued to grow in recent years, and orders from Russia, Japan, South Korea, Southeast Asia and other places have increased significantly. 

As Russia's demand for infrastructure, energy and consumer goods grows, Qingdao Port plans to increase the frequency of China-Europe freight trains in the future, expand more export categories of light industrial products, and promote the deep integration of "Made in China" into the Eurasian supply chain.
