Sodium Dichloroisocyanurate (DCCNa)

Sodium Dichloroisocyanurate, abbreviated as DCCNa and also known as Dichlor, is a highly effective and broad-spectrum organochlorine disinfectant with the CAS No. 2893-78-9.
Core Properties
It appears as white crystalline powder or granules with a chlorine-like odor, containing 60%–65% available chlorine.
It features relatively stable chemical properties; the dry powder can be stored for a long time, is easily soluble in water, and rapidly releases available chlorine.
It has strong oxidizing properties, achieving sterilization by destroying the proteins, enzyme systems and nucleic acids of microorganisms.
Main Applications
It is widely used in the disinfection of drinking water, swimming pool water, tableware, environments and non-metallic instruments.
It can serve as a bleaching agent in the textile industry and an anti-shrinking treatment agent for wool. It is also suitable for sterilization and algae removal in breeding sites and industrial circulating water systems.
Safety Notes
Its aqueous solution is irritating to the skin and mucous membranes; protective equipment should be worn during operation.
Avoid mixing it with flammables and acidic substances to prevent the generation of toxic gases. It should be stored in a sealed and moisture-proof condition.
