Application of polyacrylamide in the construction industry:

Concrete: Polyacrylamide, as an external additive for concrete, can improve the interaction between concrete particles, thereby increasing the strength and toughness of concrete. Polyacrylamide plays a role in flocculation, water retention, thickening, bonding, smoothing, etc. in concrete, putty powder, mortar and other building materials. In addition, polyacrylamide is super high in polyacrylamide in other building materials. Viscosity, and due to its special molecular structure, has a good water retention effect. Commonly used as a thickener for putty powder, refractory data binder, mortar thickening water retention agent.

Mud treatment: Construction piling and tunnel caves will produce a large amount of mud, while the mud contains a large amount of suspended liquid of fine mud particles. In the infrastructure, polyacrylamide is used as a mud-water separating agent to improve flocculation and sedimentation effect and better promote mud-water separation. 

Dry powder mortar: The role of polyacrylamide in dry mortar can play a thickening role, and can also increase the flexural strength, impermeability, bond strength, etc.

Coating: The polyacrylamide used in the coating is generally non-ionic.

Glue: Thickeners are often used in construction glues.
