Introduction:
Wood activated carbon is made from high quality fuel-wood, wood chips, wood blocks, etc. It usually has three types of appearance: powder, granular, columnar. Advantages of wood activated carbon:
1）The service life is 4-5 times that of ordinary coal-based activated carbon;
2）High adsorption and desorption, thereby greatly improving the recovery rate of the solvent;
3）High strength and low ash, reasonable pore size distribution;
4）Cost-effective, suitable for the recycling of all organic gases in this field;
5）The fire point is high and safe to use.
Application:
Due to these characteristics of wood activated carbon, it is widely used for:
1）Gas adsorption;
2）Recycling of organic solvents (benzene-based gas toluene, xylene, recovery of acetone in the cellulose acetate industry, recovery of CS2 in viscose staple fiber production, etc.)
3）Improving the recovery rate of harmful gases in the solvent;
4）Decolorization, refining, deodorization, decontamination and impurities removing in wine, spices, animal and plant protein, biochemical products, pharmaceutical intermediates, vitamins, antibiotics, etcglutamic acid and salt, lactic acid and salt, citric acid and salt, and others.
