Introduction:

Powdered activated carbon is made up of crushed or ground wood or coconut shell particles, 95–100% of which will pass through a designated mesh sieve. Powdered activated carbon is generally added directly to other process units, such as raw water intakes, rapid mix basins, clarifiers, and gravity filters.

Application: 

widely used in various amino acid industries, decolorization, purification, deodorization and impurity removal of high pigment solutions such as refined sugar decolorization, MSG industry, glucose industry, starch sugar industry, chemical additives, dye intermediates, food additives, pharmaceutical preparations.
